Fool – straight position

Card suggests that one should be patient until all the facts are known, instead of throwing oneself blindly into uncertain situations, the results of which cannot yet be accurately predicted. This does not mean that we do not take risks at all. Rather, it is the exercise of due diligence before making decisions based on incomplete information or assumptions that could lead us astray down paths that are better left unexplored, given our lack of knowledge about them.
