Anti-cellulite vacuum cup – how it works, how to use it and what are the contraindications

The anti-cellulite massage cup is a simple tool for sucking and breaking down cellulite or body shaping. This is another name for the Chinese rubber or silicone cup. It can be used both for massage and to remove the so-called orange peel.

How the anti-cellulite cups works

The massage performed with cupping is simple and can be done independently. The cups have a characteristic barrel-shaped shape and a simple vacuum mechanism. This allows the skin to be sucked, which is the main purpose of the anti-cellulite treatment. The intensity of this process is regulated by the force of pressure – the stronger the pressure on the cup, the stronger it adheres to the skin.

How to use anti-cellulite cups

On clean and dry skin, apply an oil or other product that guarantees slip. Before using the cup, it is good to massage the skin by hand or with a suitable instrument. A silicone or rubber cup is placed on the skin by pressing it so that it sucks to the surface of the skin. Then we release the pressure of the cup and with efficient movement we slowly and precisely move it longitudinally or circularly in the direction to the heart. A strongly aspirated cup can be torn off by putting a finger under it, or moving it to a surface that will allow air to enter.

The massage should last a few to several minutes on a given surface. It should be repeated every few days or applied to a different part of the body every day.

Particularly sensitive areas that may cause hematomas should be omitted. These are, for example, the inner sides of the thighs and the inner sides of the arms.
