The human mind is complex and fascinating. It consists of three distinct parts: the superconscious, the conscious and the subconscious. All three aspects – superconscious, conscious and subconscious – are integral elements of the creation, reasoning and development of a healthy individual.
Superconscious
The superconscious is a higher level of consciousness that exists outside of our daily consciousness. It is said to be related to spiritual insight or intuition and can offer us guidance in moments when we feel lost or insecure. This part of our mind often seems mysterious, but it can help us gain a deeper level of understanding if we choose to listen to it.
Conscious
The conscious mind is what most people think about when they consider their own mental processes. This includes issues such as thinking logically or making decisions based on facts rather than emotions. We use this part of ourselves every day as we go through life, navigating its complexity with reason and intelligence. This is important for problem-solving skills as well as the ability to make decisions, so you can make informed choices about your life without being influenced by emotional impulses alone.
Subconscious
The subconscious works more quietly under our daily awareness, but it still affects how we feel. The subconscious mind stores memories of childhood experiences, along with the beliefs formed from them. These can be both positive aspects, such as moments of building self-confidence, and negative – traumatic events. The subconscious also stores good habits – brushing your teeth before bedtime, bad – smoking, despite knowing that it is unhealthy. By studying stored memories, beliefs, and habits, you can gain further insight into why certain behaviors became automatic reactions.
