The Wawel Chakra is located in Krakow on the Wawel Hill. According to various sources, there is a powerful energy center there. Many people consider this place to be one of the most energetic in the world.
Church of St. Gereon was the point indicated as the center of the Wawel Chakra. This church was built in the 11th century and was located between the Royal Castle and the Wawel Cathedral. Currently, in the place of the former church there is the Stefan Batory Courtyard.
Properties of the Wawel Chakra
Research shows that the Wawel Chakra is left-handed. Left-handed chakras are female energies – Yin. When the chakra is left-handed, it has a cleansing and grounding function. Yin represents water, cold, darkness. This would mean that the Wawel Chakra has the role of cleansing energy from toxins. Cleansing is a key element if we want to maintain energetic harmony.
According to geomancer Leszek Matela, the strength of the geomantic energy of the Krakow Chakra stone is 120,000 points on the BSM (Bovis-Simenoton-Matela) scale. Let the reference point be the radiation of a healthy human body, which is 6,500 points on the BSM scale.
In 1935, unusual phenomena were recorded and attributed to the Wawel Chakra. It took place on the day of the funeral of Marshal Józef Piłsudski. That day, the air temperature suddenly dropped by 7 degrees Celsius and darkness fell over the area around 2 p.m.
The legend of the chakra stone
There are many legends related to Wawel, and one of them tells about the chakra stone. According to the stories, the chakra stone protects Wawel Hill. Bold statements recognize this stone, and therefore, to generalize, Wawel is one of the seven energy points (just like the seven main chakras in the human body) located in various places on Earth. The remaining chakras are said to be located in Rome, Jerusalem, New Delhi, Mecca, Velehrad, and Delphi.
According to the mentioned legend, the Greek philosopher and traveler Apollonius of Tyana discovered a hill – Wawel, where strong, positive radiation was felt. Apollonius left a talisman there that was supposed to indicate the radiation potential of the chakras.
The most famous legend that every person visiting Krakow must know is the legend of the Wawel Dragon. This dragon lived in a cave near Wawel. As we know from Eastern legends, dragons protected key places of power. Perhaps both of these legends – about the stone and about the dragon – are intended to indicate that Krakow is a special place if we want to work on energy.
Radiation verification
Many people come to Krakow, Wawel Castle to see if the Wawel Chakra actually emanates energy. I went to Krakow myself to verify it and I admit that I actually felt vibrations when touching the walls of Wawel. I didn’t mind the crowd of people around me. I also asked my friend who accompanied me to check his feelings as a person who is not interested in energies. It was a surprise to both of us that he also felt energy flows while touching the walls and with his eyes closed.
People who work with energy are happy to explore this place in their own ways and are convinced that there is actually something to it. They believe that Wawel has cosmic and terrestrial radiation emanating from underground water veins, creating a ring radiation leading towards the former church of St. Gereon. This radiation is beneficial to human health.
