There are people in whose company we feel lightness, peace and inner harmony. There are also those whose presence can cause a feeling of overwhelm. This phenomenon can be described as resonance. Each of us functions at a specific energy frequency, and meeting someone who vibrates similarly or extremely differently is often intuitively and intensely felt by us.
When we vibrate at the same level
Sometimes, when we see a friend or someone very close to us approaching, a broad smile appears on our face. Euphoria appears inside us. It is also visible externally. Sometimes we have tears of joy in our eyes. Being by their side, we feel growing strength, happiness. We feel that we can do many wonderful things together. We want to work together. We are excited about the meeting, presence, we want to create together, implement joint projects, spend time together.
The above issues happen when we vibrate at a very similar level.
When we vibrate at similar frequencies, we meet and our frequencies overlap, our common power becomes much stronger than when we vibrate separately.
In physics, when two waves (e.g. sound, electromagnetic or mechanical) of the same or very similar frequency overlap, so-called interference occurs. Constructive interference occurs when waves overlap so that their peaks and valleys match—the result is a wave with a greater amplitude, or more energy/power.
When two systems (e.g. bodies, circuits, metaphorically people) vibrate at the same frequency, resonance can occur — that is, the vibrations are amplified. In resonance, a small amount of energy from one source can significantly increase the amplitude of the vibrations in the other.
This phenomenon is also well-known and mathematically described. When two waves of the same strength and frequency meet, they not only add up — their combined power can increase by as much as four times compared to a single wave. This happens when two waves of the same frequency and amplitude overlap perfectly in phase (i.e. their “peaks” and “troughs” are synchronized).
The above shows how powerful it is to work together on the same frequency. My vibrations are constantly changing, but I have had many episodes at different stages of my life when I vibrated in unison with a friend or a close friend. I still remember the surprise when, one summer, at the age of thirteen, I was going to meet my then friend. As soon as I saw her in the distance, I was filled with a wonderful, uplifting feeling, and a smile spread across my face so wide that the corners of my mouth hurt. I was unable to hide this feeling. I was unable to change my facial expression. At the time, it seemed embarrassing to me. Now I know that it is a wonderful thing when the truth is so visible. The twinkle in the eyes and the sincere smile cannot be hidden!
When we vibrate at very different levels
It also happens that our vibrations and those of the people we meet are very different. The greater the difference in our frequencies, the stronger the reaction can be.
I have noticed that as I grow spiritually, and therefore my vibrations increase, I feel the energy differences more and more. In the past, I simply noticed that there are people with whom I feel better and there are people whom I avoid because they burden me, even with their presence or tone of voice.
Now it happens that I not only feel tired or aggressive, but also reluctant in contact with a person with a clearly lower frequency. This year, I have already experienced retching and vomiting for the whole day after contact with a negative, aggressive person…
I asked my friends and acquaintances about their observations and feelings. They also experience noticeable drops and increases depending on the environment in which they are.
The most common symptom of greater vibrational differences is tiredness in contact with another person. There may also be harshness, aggression, and reluctance to talk. More serious symptoms include increased blood pressure, dizziness, shortness of breath, stress, tension, abdominal pain, pain in the limbs, vomiting.
The symptoms are associated with a strong need to cleanse our energy of the low vibrations that have appeared. The body is looking for the fastest method of cleansing and grounding. It must be allowed to do so. So that it can regenerate quickly. So that we can return to our wonderful, high vibrations.
Our vibrations are variable
It is important to remember something seemingly obvious – our vibrations change. They can change very quickly. You can move from a state of euphoria to a state of trauma in a fraction of a second. The body, acting protectively, suddenly releases energy reserves, drawing them, for example, from our hair – antennae, which causes rapid graying.
You can act just as quickly in the other direction. We decide about our vibrations. We choose our point of view. We choose growth methods. We choose the pace of growth. There are external factors that can affect us, but we decide – how much and whether we want to cut ourselves off from them or not.
In order to maintain our current acquaintances, friends, partners in our lives, our growth should be parallel. I think that there have already been thoughts that this is a challenge – it is true.
It is similar vibrations that draw us to each other. If there are greater differences between us, we will simply go our separate ways, because the other side – the repulsive one – will work.
When choosing partners – regardless of the type of relationship – it is worth being guided by common development ambitions. It is they that give relationships exceptional strength, high quality and durability.
