Reiki signs – what they look like, how they work

Reiki is a healing practice that uses energy to restore balance and harmony in body, mind and spirit. The four main symbols associated with Reiki are Cho-Ku-Rei, Sei-He-Ki, Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen and Dai-Ko-Myo.

Reiki healing method

Reiki is a form of healing energy that uses the universal life force energy to promote physical and emotional well-being by restoring balance in the body’s natural energies. One of the ways to achieve this balance are Reiki signs, which are used as an auxiliary to achieve a specific result.

How to use signs

During a Reiki session, the practitioner places his hands on specific areas (or just above them) where he feels that there may be blockages or energy imbalances. When drawing a sign, the practitioner repeats its name three times. At the same time, white light passing through the tips of the fingers can be visualized. Then the practitioner puts his hands in the area requiring the most urgent treatment.

Cho-Ku-Rei

The sign Cho-Ku-Rei means: Cho – earth, Ku – sky, Rei – spirit.
This tool helps to open blocked paths to
restore harmony between mind, body and spirit.
It works by pulling negative energy out of an
area while sending positive vibrations to it.
This allows you to improve your overall health: physical, emotional,
as well as spiritual development.
It promotes grounding, draining toxins, reduces stress levels.

Sei-He-Ki

Sei-He-Ki means “United God and Humanity” or “Spiritual Union”.
This symbol works on emotional issues, allows you to get rid of old
patterns of behavior, e.g. thinking based on fear.
Additionally, this sign helps practitioners when working with clients by
helping them remove any mental blockages. These blockages can
prevent access to the potential for physical and spiritual healing.
The Sei-He-Ki symbol allows you to relax, gain balance, harmony.

Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen

Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen means “No distance”, “Connecting everywhere”.
This sign works by creating a bridge between the
therapist and the target person, persons, object, event, line…
regardless of whether they are geographically close to each other.
Because of this sign remote Reiki is possible.
This allows both involved persons to receive/transmit
energetic transmissions, even if they are separated by huge distances.
In addition to long-distance healing, the same concept also applies
when the person being healed is next to you – it allows healing
without the need for physical contact.
Cho Ku Rei completes the connection through the third character.
Its role is mainly to strengthen the intention guided before the session and during the
session. Cho-Ku-Rei also allows you to disconnect, cut off the remote session.

Dai-Ko-Myo

The symbol obtained at the master degree is Dai-Ko-Myo –
it means “Great Bright Light” or “Great Radiance”.
This symbol represents enlightenment or spiritual development.
It helps to open paths of higher consciousness within oneself,
making it easier to access inner wisdom.
It also helps in connecting with the divine guidance of a higher power
during healing sessions.

Dai-Ko-Myo helps to direct energy towards any
designated intention.

Dai Ko Myo is an extremely powerful tool
not only brings great results, but also ensures
security during each session, protects against unwanted influences
from external sources. This keeps all your energy
focused solely on what matters most:
achieving optimal health.
